Cellular agriculture 

Growing a sustainable future, one cell at a time

Introduction

In this module you will learn about cellular agriculture; a proposed new way for food production. You will gain knowledge through information, exercises, and research, and you will learn how to look at the topic cellular agriculture from multiple perspectives. These perspectives include the technical, environmental and social aspects of cellular agriculture, as well as the views from people working in the field. 

This guide consists of six chapters. Each chapter focuses on cellular agriculture from a different perspective. You will learn about these perspectives through reading , watching videos, and participating in exercises, individually, in small groups, or with the entire class.

In blue, you find the skills that you will acquire during this module, and in white you see the learning goals associated with these skills. By reading through these learning goals, you not only know what you can expect from this module, but you also know what you should focus on during these classes.

This module is made to be used by high school students aged 16, 17 or 18 years old. The module can be used in any class but is recommended for the courses biology and science.
